Cover Letter Generator — tailored drafts in your language
Generate a tailored cover letter from the job description, your background, a chosen tone and length. Editable output that never invents company facts.
A cover letter has one job: connect your record to this role, in your voice, in under a page. The generator drafts that connection from what you give it — the posting, a few honest lines about your background, a tone and a length — and then hands you the text to edit.
Tones and lengths
- Professional — conventional, safe for corporate and public sector applications
- Concise — three short paragraphs, good when the posting asks for brevity
- Traditional — formal register with a conventional opening and close
- Modern — direct, first person, focused on what you would do next
- Short / medium / long — controls how many of the posting's themes you address
What it will never do
- Invent company facts. If the posting does not say it, the letter will not claim it.
- Claim achievements you did not give it.
- Present a finished letter. Everything it produces is a draft for you to edit.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I still need a cover letter?
Only when asked, or when you have something specific to say that your resume cannot carry. A forced letter is worse than none.
How long should it be?
Three or four short paragraphs, comfortably under one page. The short setting gives you exactly that.
Can I write it in another language?
Yes — pick your language before generating, then edit. Translation quality is your call; the structure is the tool's.
